01 Who we are

SACOM PET LLC ("we," "us"), an affiliate of Chernomor LLC, operates the website at amexofferbuddy.app and publishes the Pluck browser extension authored by Stanislav Black. This policy covers both surfaces.

02 What we collect

The short version: as little as we can.

• Website analytics. Aggregated, IP-anonymized pageview counts via a privacy-respecting analytics provider. No cross-site tracking, no advertising cookies. [REVIEW: name the provider once chosen — e.g., Plausible, Vercel Analytics.]
• Referral attribution. When you click a card link on this site, the destination URL on americanexpress.com contains a referral code unique to us. American Express tracks that click; we receive aggregate, non-identifying reports of approvals from Amex's referral program. We don't see who you are, what card you applied for, or whether you were approved as an individual.
• Email. If you email us, we keep the message and reply. We don't add you to any list.
• Browser extension. The extension runs locally in your browser. It stores its state in your browser's local storage. It does not transmit any data to our servers or to third parties. See the extension page for the full behavior contract.

03 What we don't collect

• We don't collect your name, address, or phone number.
• We don't collect financial account information.
• We don't sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers.
• We don't fingerprint your browser or use cross-site cookies.
• The extension does not log keystrokes, read your statements, or transmit your card details.

04 Cookies & similar tech

We use a single first-party cookie set by our analytics provider to count unique visitors per day. It does not contain your IP address or any identifier that follows you across other sites. You can block it in your browser settings without affecting site functionality.

Links to americanexpress.com may set cookies on Amex's domain when followed. Those cookies are governed by American Express's privacy notice, not ours.

05 How long we keep things

• Aggregated analytics: 12 months, then deleted.
• Email correspondence: kept while needed to respond, then deleted within 24 months.
• Server access logs: 30 days.

06 Your rights

This site targets U.S. residents only. If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) gives you the right to know what personal information we hold, to request deletion, and to opt out of any sale (we don't sell). Email legal@amexofferbuddy.app and we'll respond within 45 days.

07 Children

This site is not directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, email us and we'll delete it.

08 Changes to this policy

We'll post the new version here and bump the "Effective" date at the top. Material changes will be flagged on the homepage for at least 30 days.

American Express® and product names referenced on this site are trademarks of American Express. We use them descriptively under nominative fair use. SACOM PET LLC and Chernomor LLC are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to American Express, except as a referral partner in the Amex Membership Rewards program — which does not give us any control over editorial content on this site.
